Tool Review DremelPast Reviews: Water Effects Instant Paper Mache ![]() Dremel is my new best friend. I don't sell Dremels but I could. For a long time, I looked at the cost and just thought "I can just get these same bits for my drill". Now I don't know how I did anything small without it. The most valuable item my kit came with is a flex-shaft. This allows your Dremel to size down to "marker size" and get into really small places. It is nice knowing that if I wanted to take up amature dentistry, I could. Anyway, I could go on and on about the accessories but you would just stop reading. What did I use if for? On my shelves, I used the sandpaper bit to smooth the rough edges after I cut the light holes out the metal. I also rough up the metal so it would take glue and paint. On my latest project, Stormtrooper armor, it is proving to be quite valuable. I cut the mouth holes out, adjusted the screw holes so the comm system would line up, trimmed the flat lenses and so on. If you don't have one... pick one up. You won't know how you got along without it... trust me. |
