X-Wing Pilot Uniform — Helmet

The X-Wing helmet is an APH-6 flight helmet and was used during the war in Vietnam.

You have a few different options when looking for an X-Wing helmet. If money is no issue, I highly recommend purchasing an APH-6 helmet (see vendor list below or call your local Army Navy Stores) and contact Richie's Armor for a conversion kit. Use these instructions for the conversion.

Your second option is to purchase a mold that is based on a converted APH-6 helmet. Richie's Armor carries a good one for around $100 unfinished.

The least expensive route is to buy a Don Post helmet from E-Bay. These run about $60 - $70.
