Planning the Project

You know the saying "If you fail to plan then you plan to fail"? I hate stupid sayings but in this case it is true. You can't expect to do a good job if you just grab stuff and start throwing it together. In this section I will discuss planning but realize that this comes after extensive research into images. NOTE: Before starting the planning process, I recommend making at least one tree, the hut, purchasing the X-Wing(there are various sizes available), having some kind of boxes to use as a reference for Luke's camp and the action figures. Click here to see a list of materials used.   Laying out where the main pieces are going to go. This is a ¼" thick sheet of plywood. It measures 2'x 4' with the main items I am going to place on it layed out where I want them. If you look closely you can see pencil marks outlining the three pond areas and level of elevation. The elevation numbers mean how many levels(0-3) of plywood I would use to allow for elevation. |
